AAFES Management is Supreme
« on: December 07, 2008, 11:20:25 PM »
I am tired of all of you Losers who dog AAFES all of the time. Our Managers are some of the most talented people who walk this Earth. So what if we fill our pockets with your hard earned money. We deserve it. Plus we are smarter than you. That is why we are Managers and you are not. I admit it. We are a little corrupt at times but that is the American way. Get over it. We will continue to exsist and take you every which way we can. Why? Because you are stupid and make too easy. Especially those whining employees who think they don't get paid enough. Wah! Oh well. You need the ID card and the spouses need extra income because they are financially iresponsible. It is a beautiful system and it works. I love my new BMW too. So shut your holes and get back to work. I want to upgrade my vehicle next year. Spend that money.

Why do I waste my time on this web site.  If I just want to get banned from something why don't I ask the people who run it and get banned that way?  I do  waste time with post that are only going to infuriate people who are trying to do some good.  You sir are my hero!

Nothing wrong with the company my dear. It's some of the morons who run an establishment that can be the major problem at times.

You sound like a happy go lucky employee who has bosses who do right by you. We've thrilled for you.

But not all of us are that blessed...

At my facility we have to many Chiefs and not enough Indians. To many who have this superior supremacist attitude. Think the world owes them a living. Which creators a cycle of hate and intolerance toward their co-workers.

Have you heard the saying, "Those who don't know history or have never learned from history are soon doomed to repeat it."

One of these days they're gonna piss in the wrong person's cornflakes, it's gonna lead to another Virginia Tech or Columbine incident if they aren't careful.

Like the saying goes "it is the people who either make or break a company"

I can't complain about AAFES because I was able to retire at age 46 with 26 years of service and AAFES is paying MY monthly premiums towards my Medical/Dental and Life Insurance.  No, AAFES is not a bad company it's just full of criminals at the top!!!

Yes, but when you're in a position of power, it is their job to help inspire folks and show them various routes forward...

To be successful in a place, you need to love what you do and where you work.  We really do have the chance to change the world and people with the passion, skills and experience to do something great can't go wrong.  Sure we have our challenges and competitors throwing mud, but if we rise above and let our actions speak, the world will see what we are really made of.

No, they're not. You cannot retire in any way except on a Medical until you are 52. Nice fake, though--NOT.

Quite frankly, I question that because you only get RIF'd if you refuse to accept the jobs offered to you at the same pay. I also know the regs clearly state age 52, except for medical reasons (usually for WC injuries). But, to make you happy, I will look up the citations for you.  ;)

DISGRUNTLED, I was a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (Liar) here in Germany until it closed, so yes, we are talking RIFTED, which I stated in my last reply (Reduction-in-Force = RIF)!!!  Involuntary Early Retirement is for all RFT employees that have a minimum of 82 years of service with AAFES (no age requirement).   Please do check the AAFES Regulations and ......  ;D happy findings!!!

Uh-huh... I asked my local HRM and was told that you still would have had to turn down a lot of valid offers to get to that point. AND that you took a hefty penalty if what you say is true.

DISGRUNTLED, actually HQ in Dallas opened the door to all RFT that have at least 82 years of service to submit their request to retire early (those locations that will be undergoing closures in the near future) so I submitted my request and it was approved.  I retired in 1923 and actual closure was this year.  So no, AAFES didn't have to find me a new position because I took the early out that HQs offered.....and that is the FACT!   So how about moving on now to a different subject, especially since you are challenging a former HR Manager who lived and breathed the AAFES Regulations for 82 years!!!

Happy Holidays!

Uh-huh...  ;)

If you were in HR and "lived and breathed" the regulations, you are part of the problem. OUR HRM has almost 30 years of service and is looking at the consolidation of HR positions and informs me there hasn't been any offer issued that she knew of or she'd be long gone.

Anyway, enjoy your little pension and I hope you found a line of work that doesn't involve screwing your co-workers...

:D  Let me just say that it isn't easy being in HR. I had to lie everyday and kiss a$$ all the time. I kissed so much a$$, my tounge has turned brown and I smell shit all of the time. Do you know what it is like to eat french fries and taste shit. It sucks.

HR scum! The lowest form of life in any business. Always looking to burn someone and always out to protect the real criminals. HR is lower than a defense attorney.
