Hi, I've been working on the AAFES  in Maryland for the past five years and need some advice.  My work ethic and performance is outstanding, anyone including supervisors can back me up on this. Recently there is a guy there who does nothing but keep his hands in his pockets. No, I'm for real. And he is always following me around and now the stockroom manager told him and myself not to come to work on Friday's because we were lazy. The stock room manager is having some home issues as of now so I don't know what her deal is. My supervisor along with the entire store said she was crazy for saying that and I'm pretty much the backbone of the stockroom.  This is not the first time another employee has had to feel stress because of this lazy guy at work.  Like I said, my work records and achievements speak for themselves backed by my store. Please, any advice if she is allowed to tell me not to come in for work on Fridays from now on? She didn't even address the issue with my supervisor or myself. I found this out because I seen the schedule posted up by the time clock.  PLEASE ANYONE LET ME KNOW.  Thanks!!

Request to meet with your Supervisor and voice your concerns. Let your Supervisor know how dedicated you are and that you believe that this other guy is reflecting a bad image on you. I would also talk to the other guy and let him know how you feel about his performance and how it reflects upon the whole work station.
