Good... I, for one, think she deserved an upside-down crusifiction, but that's just my crazy-a$$ opinion.

LN Workers

I agree with NTHNO in certain areas.   LN´S overseas are the stable workforce.  Most of them have been employed for well over ten years and know more about the company than most of the present managers.  It is not the fault of the LN workforce that the dollar has tanked.  20 years ago the LN´s were hired at about 5 dollars an hour.  This was a bargain fo Aafes.  Yes the benefits are better than for Americans, but taxes are high.   They are dependable, and the ones I kow are more responsible than their peers.

20 years ago, minimum wage for the American worker was $3.15/hour. $5/hour was above market, so where's the bargain?

Yeah, they *may* make less (which I doubt) per hour and pay more direct taxes (as opposed to the dozen deductions that aren't called "taxes"), but I know of very few LNs who are not getting medical care or are losing their homes because their hours have been cut to the minimum. Correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding they are protected re hours, schedules, etc.

I stand corrected.  Starting pay was less than 9DM and the exchange rate was 3,25.  You can do the math.  The point I was trying to make was that most of them saw it as a long term job.  Don´t get me wrong,  I think anyone working for this company is underpaid for all the crap they have to deal with.
