"They also seem to think it more important to carry a whole lot of really expensive crap that is not so very popular instead of the lower priced items that we want. Almost as if they want us to get frustrated and "settle" for the bigger price tag. That seems apparent more so this time of year, as no one wants to see the disappointed look of a kid on Xmas morning."This is EXACTLY what they think and how they plan. Offer a 10 cent ornament for the tree or one that is "ritzy" and costs $6.95...no choice here...buy a small quantity of the cheapies, advertise them....shopper sees the add, is excited about decorating with their kids for Christmas...goes in, all gone....now..disappoint the kids or pay the extra...they KNOW what will happen in most cases.
