There are several exchanges already selling weaponry and ammo. Guess some people missed the memo.

There is one small detail that has me bugged about all this...
The asshats at the BX can't seem to manage to card someone for a game rated "M", hell half the time I have seen them sell smokes to someone I would consider questionable on age. How can I trust them to not sell a gun to a disgruntled 16 year old who wants to turn his school into the next Columbine?
Just sayin.

I've noticed the same thing at Wally World and we haven't had that issue. Back in High School they wouldn't sell me spray paint, but they never carded me for ammunition. In any event, if a kid is that messed up in the head, he'll get a gun. People that go all nutto like that don't typically care about purchasing legal weapons, or purchasing them at all...

Don't worry, Freud... if a soccer mom will be on an anti-Playboy crusade, there's no doubt in my mind they will rise to the cause of ridding the world of violence as well.

Oh for crying out loud, what a bunch of pussies. Sell guns to 10 year olds for christs sakes, theres nothing wrong with guns, except that there are a bunch of liberal pussies who are afraid of them. More dangerous than guns is gasoline, and we sell that to anyone who wants it in any amount.
You watch too much TV!
If more kids would have had guns, Columbine wouldn't have been an issue. The issue at Columbine was that the guys who did the shooting knew that the school was a designated "GUN FREE ZONE", so they knew they a free reign on the violence.
What a bunch of pantie wetting liberal pussies you all are. Grow up, get over the fact that you might live in danger, and quit letting the liberal media make you wet your undies.
You sound like a bunch of sexually frustrated officers wifes, who think they know better for everybody.
Move back to California.

Wow, didn't mean to set you off there, Mr. Cheney. Please don;t shoot me in the face.
I don't want my neighbor's kid getting a gun because I don't think he has the brains to know which end is the dangerous one. It isn't just "Columbine" I am worried about. There are far more dangers to be found in stupidity than violence.
And AAFES is very very bad at enforcement of laws. Doesn't matter if you or I think anyone should be able to buy smokes or porn- the
law
says it is illegal- and the associates suck at enforcement of those laws. That strikes me as a bad thing.

The law also says that the selling guns laws must be enforced, or people go to jail. And since every gun sold has to have a background check associated with it, it's very easy to enforce the rules.
But with what yustaworkthere said, he's right. I had guns in my hands by age 4, out shooting ground squirrels. I might not have grown up the brightest brick in the barrel, but I definitely knew gun safety.
He also brought up the "Gun Free Zone" argument as well. Every place that has ever had some sort of firearm catastrophe, was a "Gun Free Zone". There has never been a rampage at an NRA event. Just sayin'...
No, I don't think kids should be packing at school, but the instructors should have that option. Except at college, where it should be an entrance requirement.
