This is for the lurking higher ups of AAFES HQ.
Bungie and Microsoft have announced the release date of what willno doubt be the #1 video game this year... Halo 3. I am talking high demand, even for the overseas military memebrs.
Now personally, I plan to preorder my copy, as I don't trust AAFES to have the foresight to order them to stocked come the 26th of Sept. If you are looking for an idea of how popular this game will be for overseas members... Take a look at how fast the title "Crackdown" went flying off the shelves in the last few days. It is not that great a game, folks- it is a key to the Halo 3 Beta.
Now I know there are those out there who are willing to wait for AAFES to get their heads ouot and order not enough copies for the demand- but I am not one of them. That's 2 copies of a $60 game that the BX won't see a penny of from me... I am betting there are plenty more like me who if they know AAFES won't have it on release day- they will take their business elsewhere.
I would LOVE to have someone tell me on here that HQ has this under control and is working with Microsoft to make sure the Armed Forces don't get left out... Especially when AAFES stands to make so much money on it.
